How does Testnet Participation work?
Each month, we run several events to help validators learn about gaia-specific features and improve their skill as node operators.Validators on the Hub testnet register as testnet participants by providing us proof that their testnet validator is associated with a mainnet Hub validator using our Registration Form. If either your mainnet or testnet address changes, you must resubmit this Registration Form. Without this information, we cannot track your participation and you cannot earn points!
Points and uptime on the `provider` chain are reported to the Interchain Foundation on a quarterly basis to inform decisions in their ATOM delegations program. Starting with Q4 in 2026 (the October 1-December 31 period), the uptime reported in this page represents the percentage of blocks signed by a validator since the beginning of the quarter.

If you think we've made a mistake or need to notify us of a planned disruption in your testnet participation, email us at project.cosmos@hypha.coop and we may be able to make an exception.
Exceptions are up to the discretion of the testnet coordinators. Once a month is completed and points have been sent to ICF, there will be no changes made retroactively.
